October Happenings
At last night’s club meeting, a lot of opportunities arose that just can’t wait until the next newsletter. Let’s dig into them right now.
October 15 – Jamboree on the Air
This is a scouting event that happens every year. Mickey NY2MC is working at the Girl Scout Camp Meadowbrook in Queensbury. He has 50 Girl Scouts and 20 Boy Scouts preregistered for this event. It runs from 10 AM to 4 PM. Mickey has lined up 4 stations, and 4 Hams. He needs a few more operators who will be willing to work a few hours. It’s tough to man a station for 6 hours straight. Email Mickey at UpperHudsonJOTA@gmail.com, or call him at 518-798-4212. Lunch will be provided.
October 15-16 – NYS QSO Party
